Wearing heels again to work

This was actually intended to be a post about high-heels and the photo was supposed to illustrate the topic (it doesn’t). I wore heels again to work the other day (when I was wearing this outfit) and I was just thinking: wow, I’ve been wearing flats for so long that when I slip into a high heel now, I can feel the transformation. I walk a little taller, I feel the surge of confidence and they’re just plain empowering – in a fun way ;-)

Why I love COS #2

So, back to the original reason: black and white with a twist.

It’s little details and interesting quirks such as this very small collar on a buttonless white shirt or the leather top layer on a classical linen skirt that make COS the savvy fashion business women’s go-to shop for stylish, sleek officewear.

I picked this outfit for a photoshoot* we did for our corporate website. I was wearing:

White shirt / COS
Linen and leather skirt / COS
Two knots black leather bracelet / COS
Golden skull watch / Zadig & Voltaire
Black sandals / Ferragamo

Workwear longing

If I was going to the office this is what I would be wearing today*:

Black cotton blouse with ruffled sleeves / COS
Beige linen shorts / COS
Silver open-toes / Prada
Black grain leather clutch / Lanvin
Neroli Portofino fragrance / Tom Ford

* And that’s about all I miss about having a ‘real’ office, my high heels & workwear outfits ;-)

Kick-off outfit

Thought it might be fun to record my work wear outfits, look back and see how I coped with those ‘what should I put on today? staring at my closet’ moments ; -)

So here I start, when I actually quit my job in an established company to launch my own consultancy business. That brought lots of changes at all levels in my life and a tremendous wardrobe change too.

Anyway, this is what I used to wear at work:

Crispy white shirt with the smallest collar / COS
Black cropped pants / COS
Black strappy sandals (not seen) / Ferragamo
